I can’t muster much enthusiasm for True Blood or Twilight. I really did the vampire thing in the 90s with a mess o’ Anne Rice and one goth chick that filled the void and left me with several nightmares and a toothmark that still makes for a dandy conversation starter. Now it just seems like it’s been done to death.
Can we get a romantic retelling of The Amazing Colossal Man going? Ted Danson and Bonnie Hunt trying to find love in a normal-sized world? Trying to raise 50-foot kids trying to fit in and get parts in the high school musical? Something.
